Graph Equivalence Classes for Spectral Projector-Based Graph Fourier Transforms

چکیده
We define and discuss the utility of two equivalence graph classes over which a spectral projector-based graph Fourier transform is equivalent: isomorphic equivalence classes and Jordan equivalence classes. Isomorphic equivalence classes show that the transform is equivalent up to a permutation on the node labels. Jordan equivalence classes permit identical transforms over graphs of nonidentical topologies and allow a basis-invariant characterization of total variation orderings of the spectral components. Methods to exploit these classes to reduce computation time of the transform as well as limitations are discussed.

The graph of equivalence classes and Isoclinism of groups
Let $G$ be a non-abelian group and let $Gamma(G)$ be the non-commuting graph of $G$. In this paper we define an equivalence relation $sim$ on the set of $V(Gamma(G))=Gsetminus Z(G)$ by taking $xsim y$ if and only if $N(x)=N(y)$, where $ N(x)={uin G | x textrm{ and } u textrm{ are adjacent in }Gamma(G)}$ is the open neighborhood of $x$ in $Gamma(G)$. We introduce a new graph determined ...
متن کاملCentric connectivity index by shell matrices
Relative centricity RC values of vertices/atoms are calculated within the Distance Detour and Cluj-Distance criteria on their corresponding Shell transforms. The vertex RC distribution in a molecular graph gives atom equivalence classes, useful in interpretation of NMR spectra. Timed by vertex valences, RC provides a new index, called Centric Connectivity CC, which can be useful in the topologi...
متن کاملAgile Inexact Methods for Spectral Projector-Based Graph Fourier Transforms
We propose an inexact method for the graph Fourier transform of a graph signal, as defined by the signal decomposition over the Jordan subspaces of the graph adjacency matrix. This method projects the signal over the generalized eigenspaces of the adjacency matrix, which accelerates the transform computation over large, sparse, and directed adjacency matrices. The trade-off between execution ti...
متن کاملTHE SPECTRAL DETERMINATION OF THE MULTICONE GRAPHS Kw ▽ C WITH RESPECT TO THEIR SIGNLESS LAPLACIAN SPECTRA
The main aim of this study is to characterize new classes of multicone graphs which are determined by their signless Laplacian spectra. A multicone graph is defined to be the join of a clique and a regular graph. Let C and K w denote the Clebsch graph and a complete graph on w vertices, respectively. In this paper, we show that the multicone graphs K w ▽C are determined by their signless ...
متن کاملFast Fourier Transform for Fitness Landscapes
We cast some classes of fitness landscapes as problems in spectral analysis on various Cayley graphs. In particular, landscapes derived from RNA folding are realized on Hamming graphs and analyzed in terms of Walsh transforms; assignment problems are interpreted as functions on the symmetric group and analyzed in terms of the representation theory of Sn. We show that explicit computations of th...
